Happy Saturday y'all! Below, I have rounded up some things for you to think about this weekend:

1. This week features a couple think pieces concerning technology. Up first is this essay from Charles Eisenstein on the possibility for society to create archipelagos that facilitate the discovery, creation, and maintenance of technologies of reunion (as opposed to technologies of separation, which are very common today). His main idea is that we could develop places that would hold space for valuable (yet non-academic) learning and work to occur, instead of offering the "academia or trade school ONLY" dichotomy to high school-aged young adults, as our society currently operates.

2. Up next is an interview concerning the fusion of technology and spirituality—two concepts that are often framed as being mutually exclusive. The interview raises and attempts to answer the question, "Can technology deepen spirituality?"

That's all for this week's edition of Weekend Thoughts. Until next week, keep thinking wilder.
