Mentioned on the Road Work Podcast

As a fan of the fantastic podcast Road Work, I was quite tickled to hear the hosts stumble across some of my work on Psychedelic Times during this week’s show as they were looking to find help with researching potential negative interactions between pharmaceutical drugs.

While I’m almost certainly not the right person to tell them about whether their Lamictal would interact poorly with their NAD+, because as they discovered, I tend to focus more on psychedelics, I did find a few drug interaction checkers that might help people trying to find information on potential negative interactions between multiple pharmaceutical drugs:

WebMD Drug Interaction Checker
RxList Drug Interaction Checker Drug Interactions Checker

I spent a few minutes looking at those two particular drugs, and while Lamictal is available as an option, it didn’t look like NAD+ was on any of these checkers. But these interaction checkers can be used with other drugs, if that’s what you’re looking for. And I’d recommend asking your doctor about any potentially negative drug interactions as well.

At any rate, I was thrilled to find out that a high-caliber podcast like Road Work discussed my work on their show. If you haven’t checked them out before, I highly encourage you to give them a listen. Thanks John and Dan!

This Week in Psychedelics 10.26.18 Will Be Delayed

This week’s TWIP column will be a bit delayed, as I’m going to be taking a short break from blogging for a few days. In fact, I am hitting the road tomorrow and heading to northern Florida for this year’s Hulaween music festival. This will be my third consecutive year attending the festival, and I’m super stoked to kick back, relax, and enjoy some awesome music and mindbending light shows for a few days.

If you happen to be also going to Hulaween, contact me and we can meet up!

I’ll be back early next week and should have the 10.26.18 TWIP out by Halloween. Thanks for your patience. 👻🎃👽

Hello readers! I will out of town this week with extremely limited access to the Internet, so this week's "This Week in Psychedelics" column will be published sometime next week—most likely on Tuesday or Wednesday. (However, the "Weekend Thoughts" article will be published on Saturday as per usual.) Thank you for your patience!

Hello y'all! I apologize—this week's "This Week in Psychedelics" and "Weekend Thoughts" columns will be delayed by a few days because I am currently at the Suwannee Hulaween music festival, in Live Oak, Florida. As such, I don't have access to a computer (or a consistently-reliable Internet connection) to finish this week's posts at the level of quality that I normally demand from myself. Thank you for your patience, and please stay tuned next week (most likely on Tuesday or Wednesday) for the belated publication of "This Week in Psychedelics" and "Weekend Thoughts"!
